Brisbane Junior Futsal Premier League (BJFPL)

Queensland State Futsal Centre would like to invite you to participate of the 2016 Brisbane Futsal Junior Premier League.

The event will take place at the QLD State Futsal Centre in Acacia ridge– Brisbane from the 22th of October to the 3rd of December with games on Saturdays where only 6 futsal teams will be selected to play on each age group.

THE COMPETITION STRUCTURE

The second season of the BFJPL has a format with a main round followed by the finals. In the main round you will play each team in your age group twice (10 games) over 5 weekends (2 games per day and there is a brake in the middle of the calendar as a contingency plan). The top four will play off in the semi finals with the winners advancing to the grand final.

The first and second places will be awarded with medals and the champions also with a trophy. Videos of the highlights of the finals will be broadcasted on Facebook/Youtube as well interviews with the players of the matches some players. Check some of highlights from last year’s competition


There will also be awards for MVP, top scorer and golden gloves.

CONDITIONS, INVESTMENT AND BENEFITS

Upon their registration, players will be able to join our teams and:

. Play at least 10 games (plus semi and grand final) with official referees (2x refs per court);

. Possibly be on our videos (The semi-finals and Grand Finals will be fully recorded and highlights broadcasted on our YouTube / Facebook channels).

. Have a chance to be selected to participate of the post-match interviews;

. Be involved in a fun and family environment with high level of Football/Futsal players;

. Actively participate of intense Futsal games (Futsal offers 600% more touches on the ball than 11 a side Football);

. Develop your skills and competitive spirit.

Investment:

For U9 to Youth the investment is only $150 /player (Uniforms not included)

For U7 players the investment is only $100/player (Uniforms not included)

General Conditions

General Conditions of the 2016 BJFPL

  • Teams should have a minimum of 8 players/team and maximum of 12 players for best accommodate players and avoid forfeits.
  • Registrations must be done through the QSFC website (www.qsfc.com.au).
  • As only 6 teams will participate per age group, the number of registrations is limited and the order of registration will be respected.
  • Other local courts may be used due to high number of games (within Brisbane area).
  • The structure of the competition may change according to the number of teams registered.
  • Fair-time rules applicable to the main round of the competition.
  • Playing times during the Finals at the discretion of the Coaches.
  • Any change will be communicated in advance to registered players.
  • The organisers of the competition (QLD State Futsal Centre) are solely responsible for guaranteeing the safety and security of all persons attending and participating of the event according to the local regulations.

Rules of the 2016 BJFPL

  1. Team registrations must be paid in full by the 6th of October. Teams with outstanding fees will forfeit match points until the fees are paid. Payments must be done in full per each team of clubs in person at one QSFC branches or via direct transfer
  1. Participants are not permitted to set up or adjust any part of the playing facility, including but not limited to goals, nets. If the playing area is not set up satisfactorily please seek assistance from the organizers.
  1. All team members must wear shirts, shorts & socks of the same type and color. Bibs may be provided if needed by the organizers, if team’s colors clash.
  1. Teams must have five (5) players, one (1) being the goalkeeper. This competition is an open competition, females are encouraged to participate however there are no rules requiring teams to have female team members.
  1. Teams can nominate a maximum of 12 players per group age and minimum of 8 players.
  1. Teams can only borrow up to 2 player from a younger group age from the same club.
  1. Teams not able to field three (3) of their own players will forfeit match points. A friendly game may still be played but the outcome will have no bearing on the competition. If a team forfeits without advising the organization of the competition with 24h notice, it will result in a forfeit (without notice).
  1. All games during the Main Round will be 2 x 18 min (nonstop) halves with a 1 min half time. The games during the Final Round will be 2 x 20min (nonstop) halves with a 2 min half time.
  1. The point scoring system is as follows:
  • Win 3 points
  • Draw 1 point
  • Loss 0 points
  • Forfeit (with notice) 0 points plus 5 goals against
  • Forfeit (without notice) -2 points plus 10 goals against
  • Non duty -2 points plus 10 goals against
  1. All referees are to be organized by QLD State Futsal Centre.
  1. The team winning the toss will kick off. A goal can be scored directly from the kick off.
  1. A team can interchange players any time during matches. There is no limit to the amount of times a player may leave or re-enter the court of play.
  1. There are no throw-ins. The ball will be kicked into play. The attacking team has 4 seconds to return the ball to the field of play.
  1. Corners are permitted.
  1. There is no offside; a player may stand anywhere on the court.
  1. Opposing players must be at least two (3) meters from the ball at all free kicks, including penalty kicks, sidekicks, corner kicks.
  1. from 5th foul teams awarded 10 meters’ penalty shot.

Finals format

The games during the Final Round will be 2 x 20min (nonstop) halves with a 2 min half time.

1vs 4, 2 vs 3 winners qualify to grand

During finals a draw during regulation time, each team takes 3 x 6 meters’ penalty shots, if teams can’t be separated after 3 x penalty kicks, alternative 1 each team.

During penalty kicks all players must take one, until teams are allowed to repeat takers.
